Rockefeller and his party today drove from his Forest Hill home lo the railway station and took a train for New York. Following the story of the plot, to assassinate Mr. Rockefeller, told to the police today by Sawyer Smith of Minerva. Following his u.sual custom in Cleveland, Cleve-land, however, the aged millionaire alighted at I he railway station, mingled with the crowd that had gathered, and seemed to have no anxiety as lo his safety. Tho only unusual move he made was to direct his chauffeur to tnko a circuitous routo lo tho station. Police chiefs in Cleveland and East Cleveland are endeavoring to trace the alleged plotters. Tho liochofollor home was under guard all Monday night, but today, at tho direction of Rockefeller, Rocke-feller, the guard was withdrawn. The story told by Smith is that, when in Alliance. O., Sunday night, he heard two men discussing a plan to kill tho oil magnate.
