The total cost of said improvement is estimated at forty-six thousand nine hundred hun-dred seventeen and 75-100 ($46,917.75) dollars, of which sum the city's portion Is fifteen thousand seven hundred seven tv-ninc tv-ninc and 75-100 (J15.779.75) dollars, leaving leav-ing thirty-one thousand one hundred and thirty-eight ($31.13S-00) dollars to ba raised by local assessment. .All protests nnd objections to the carrying car-rying out of such intention must be presented in writing to the City Recorder on or beforo the 14th day of September. 190S, being the time sot by said Council when It will hear and consider such protests pro-tests and objections as may bo mado thereto.
