Show NEW QUARTERS OF Y. W. C. A. The Organization Has Secured Rooms on South State Street. After July 7 Salt Lake Is to have a well-organized well-organized Young Women's ChrJstian association. as-sociation. The board of directors of the organization, which was started several months ago. has practically completed the remodeling of four spacious rooms In the Brooks Arcade on State and Third South streets, and will be ready to receive re-ceive members of tho association on July S at 9 o'clock. The organization has existed for four months, having had its headquarters In the Y. M. C. A. building, but the lack of room has been a drawback. It Is thought that with the new rooms the membership of the association will be Increased ten-fold. The headquarters are to Include a large rest room, a reading room with library and a lunch room whore coffee, tea, milk and rolls will be served. The rooms are to be open from 9 a. mfl until 6 p. m. Non-members of the association will be admitted by paying pay-ing a fee of five cents and will be privileged privi-leged to U9e all the conveniences. The general secretary will be on hand during the day to meet young women and help them In any way. There will be no opening open-ing exercises. |
