There was a further fur-ther advance' of about 10b in the London tin markot, with spot closing at 183 15s and futures at 184 10b. Locally the market continues firm, but slightly higher, high-er, owing to the improvement abroad; $40.80 was offered for spot supplies, with holders asking $41,20. Copper was unchanged at 81 12s 6d for both spot and futures in the London market. Locally no clmnge was reported, with Lake quoted at $18.75, electrolytic $18.50, casting $18.37. Lead was higher at 17 8s 9d in London. Lon-don. Locally the market was firmer, with quotations ranging from $5.75(9)5.85. Outside prices being asked for deliveries out of stores. Spelter was 2s 6d higher, at 27 2s Cd in the London market. Locally It was unchanged, at $G,006.10. Iron was higher abroad, with standard stand-ard foundry quoted nt 53s lOd and Cleveland Cleve-land warrants at 54s 4d in the English Eng-lish market. Locally prices wore firm and generally higher, with No. 1 foundry Northern quoted nt ?20.00(g,'20.60; No. 2 foundry Northern, $19.5020.00; No. 1 foundry Southern, $20.0020.50, and No. 2 foundry Southern, $19.60020.00.
