PAUL, Aug. 24 The "commit-too "commit-too of fifteen" insurance commissioners commission-ers of various States, now holding a meeting at the State' capitol here, today to-day received reports of sub-committees and approved drafts of bills for uniform uni-form "legislation which, if udoptcd, will make a very material difference in the operation of tho big old-line luc insurance insur-ance companies. t Tho report of the committee on misrepresentations, mis-representations, including tho draft of a bill, was approved. The draft was presented todajr, including 'the following follow-ing important soction. "Jfo life insurance corporation, officers, offi-cers, director or agent, shall issue or circulate and estimate, illustration, circular, cir-cular, or statement, in any part misrepresenting mis-representing the terms of any policy issued by it, or the benefits or advantages advan-tages promised, or tho dividends oa shares of surplus to bo received thereon: there-on: nor shnll any company use anj' title of pplicy, or class of policies, misrepresenting mis-representing the true nature thereof," |
