Show SOLDIER LAID TO REST, Last ' Sad Rites Over the Body of Charles O. Irwin. Special to The Tribune. OCJDEX, July 14. Funeral services over tiio remains of Charles O. Irwin, the Ogden Og-den boy who wa3 a member of the Seventh Sev-enth United States cavalry, and who died In the Philippines on April 23, as the result re-sult of wounds received in action, were held at the Third ward meeting house itr Ogden this afternoon. Bishop James Wotherspoon presided and there wero many trlbulos to the young man and condolences to the bereaved relatives. There was a good musical service. Including In-cluding somo 30los. and a profusion of floral tributes. On the speakers' stand was Colonel Thomas Lundy. commander of Dix-Logan post of the Grand Army of the Republic, nnd that organisation, tho Spanisli War Veterans and Company B, Utah National Guard, followed the remalriK to tho grave, the Interment bolng In the City cemetery. The boys of the guard ilred three volleys over the gravo nfter Interment, and the buglers sounded taps.
