Show MINING IN COLORADO. Colorado as yet shows no sign of exhaustion ex-haustion of her mineral fields. Certain areas, it is true, have boon thoroughly prospected on the surface, and It would be folly to look for new claims In Lead-vllle, Lead-vllle, Cripple Creek or the region lying west and northwest of Denver. But In such counties as our own neighbors, Custer and Chaffee, and others more remote, re-mote, such as Gunnison, Saguache, Hinsdale and others, there Is abundant opportunity for the careful, Industrious and persistent prospector, as well as for the mining- man with capital and determination, to equal or even to surpass sur-pass any of the successes that have placed Colorado at thc head of the successful suc-cessful mlnlnir Slates. Colorado's phenomenal progress along other lines, and her accomplishments In agriculture, fruit growing, manufacturing manufactur-ing and other industries, should not lead any one, at home or abroad, to overlook over-look the surpassing greatness of this mining State, which is superior to all other States, Territories or foreign countries, whether we consider the richness rich-ness and the variety of its mineral resources, re-sources, or the advantages of the conditions con-ditions under which prospecting and mining aro carried on.
