OCR Text	Show SHIPPING IS BETTER Decided Improvement in Business at Now York Port. NEW YORK, Aug. 19. Steamship interests in-terests at this port are elated, says the Journal of Commerce, over the decided Improvement that has taken place in business prospects during the last few weeks. Instead of going out with half cargoes, or at times virtually in ballast, aa has been recently the case, vessels are now taking full cargoes and tho situation is a firm one generally. The improvement is due lo the active foreign demand for American grain for spot and forward loading. Yesterday steamship accommodation was engaged fcr 500,000 bushels of grain.
