Some six or seven months , 1 ago Sheriff Emery secured a confession i 'i from an old man named George W. ( I Muncey. who said that nice and hlm- i ' i yelf, together with a man named Abe , I '. Hunter, were guilty of the crime, Ac- l , i cording to Munccy, the three men went to Beutler's place for the purpose of i ' robbery. Bcutler, It Is understood, put f'( "i up a mild defense and was thrown upon the floor and his mouth stuffed U I with a towel. The men were frlght-ened frlght-ened away, and when the officers ; reached the place Beutler was dead.
