Show UTAH BERRIES ARE FINER AND CHEAPER Mississippi Tomatoes Come in at S2 Per Crn'tc Mutton and Fall Lambs Cheaper. f T TAH berries arc cheaper this week. IS They arc now coming in In such B large quantities that the price was . rcducod yesterday to J2.25 a crate, and by tho end of the week a still further reduction may be expected. For quality and size they compare favorably with any of the imported berries, and the system of packing them favors the consumer. In many of the baskets that were exposed for sale It was noticeable that the largo berries, instead of being carefully placed on the top, were distributed equally all through.1- This sudden spell of hot weather weath-er is unfortunate for those farmers who have large strawberry gardens. So many of tho berries will he ripened so suddenly that they will have to rush their produce on the markets In a lump. Had tho ripening ripen-ing been mole gradual they would lavi drawn the' benefit and been able to main-lain main-lain n constant supply for a longer time. Tho first carload of MiKslsipp4 tomatoes was received by tho W. M. Rush company jesterday. This variety of the vegetable will now bo coming in regularly In large quantities. The same firm expects to gel two carloads every week, and with tho shipments to be received by the other commission houses Utah will be plentifully plenti-fully supplied with tomatoes.
