Tho street car companies wtlll operate seven doublo tracks from the city, with which they will be ablo to carry GO00 persons per hour. Quito elaborate are the systems provided pro-vided for-tho Intramural transportation of visitors 1m the grounds. These aro the Intramural railroad, a line of automobiles, au-tomobiles, lagoon water craft, automobile auto-mobile chairs, roller push chairs, a miniature railroad and several other means, such as Jinrickshaws, etc. The Intramural railroad involved the construction of a standard-guage, .cinder-ballasted, heavy-rail doublo-trhck road bed.. It is an overhead trolley lino running for tho gerater portion of Its length on the ground,- protected by fences. The road makes a complete circuit of tho grounds, running close to every point of interest except the interior inter-ior of the main picture composed of tha big exhibit buildings and the central portion of the street of concessions. |
