UNION REMITS FINE IMPORTANT ACTION TAKEN BY ELECTRICAL WORKER I Is Viewed aS a Modification of Now Rule of Building Trades Council Coun-cil Regarding on Union Men T J Allen the electrician has beau notified by local union No 57 International Inter-national Brotherhood of Electrical Workers that thc fine of 100 recently imposed upon him by the union has been remitted The fine was originally Imposed Mr Allen says because he declined to cease work on buildings where nonunion men were employed but in the future it Is said union electricians elec-tricians will be allowed to pursue their vocation irrespective of the presence of nonunion men so long as the nonunion non-union workmen are engaged on another an-other department of the work Fines against union men in Allens employ hove also been remitted This modification of the rule of the Building Trades council will he hailed wIth Joy by contractors and builders
