a member of tho society After sonio minor matters of business wcro disposed of the subject of smallpox and vaccination was discussed A committee com-mittee consisting of Dra Allen and Itobl j Son of of the I Legislature concerning IL law governing I 1 vaccination and powers of boards of health Tho committee was given full power to represent the Utah County Medl cal society and was instructed to of smallpox deems It proper to urge general I vaccination and revacclnatlou In time ot I epidemics The following resolutions were unanl mouslv adopted Resolved That the Utah County Medical Medi-cal society condemns time actions and work of certain Individuals and newspapers for trying to hamper and Interfere with tho work of the Stale and local Boards of Health In their efforts to enforce proper i regulations for the prevention and spread of smallpox Wo heartily and unanimously Indorse time action and labors of the Slate and local Boards of Health In their vigorous vigo-rous endeavors to prevent the spread and ravages of smallpox and wo hereby ox tend our congratulations and moral sup port to all health officers Individuals and newspapers who are lending their efforts I In supporting Ihti health boards effortsI I i cols In their duties and trying to render protection und safety to the people Wo also urge and Indorse the strictest quarantine and hygienic regulations Wo urge the Board of Education has agreed to comply with the order that was Issued by I the State Board of Health on December 10th closing the schools against unvacclmUod pupils and teachers This will prevent any
