Sept. 17, 1937 NOTICE TO WATER USERS THE STATE OF UTAH Office of State Engineer Salt Lake City Notice is hereby given that KennecoUt Copper Corporation, transferee of Utah Copper Company, Com-pany, Salt Lake City, Utah has made Application ln accordance with the laws of Utah to change the point of diversion, place and nature of use, of 1.6 sec. ft. of water from Dixon Gulch ln Salt Lake County, Utah. Said water has heretofore been diverted by virtue of Application No. 9990 at a point S. 62 Deg. E. 1676 feet from the NW Cor. of Sec. 26, T. 3 S., R. S W., SLB&M, and used from January l to December Decem-ber 31 Inclusive of each year, for leaching and precipitation of ores. After having been so used the water has been returned to the natural channel at a point 0. 66 Deg. E. 1980 feet from said NW Cor. of Sec. 26. It la now proposed to divert said water at a point N. 45 Deg. 8 Min. E. 1888 feet from the Wl4 Cor. of said Sec. 26, and use it from January l to December 31 inclusive inclu-sive of each year, primarily for the precipitation of copper held in solution, but also for the extraction ex-traction from such solutions of such other content as possesses a commercial value. After having been so used, it is proposed to convey the water away from Bingham Canyon and dispose of |
