Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS THE STATE OF UTAH Office of SUte Engineer Salt Lake City Notice is hereby given that Kennecott Copper Corporation, transferee of Utah Copper Company, Com-pany, Salt Lake City, Utah has made Application in accordance with the laws of Utah to change the place and nature of use of 1 see. ft. of water from the Carr Fork Creek, ln Salt Lake County, Utah. Said water has heretofore been diverted by virtue of Application Appli-cation No. 10166 at a point S. 77 Deg. 3 Min. W. 1875 feet from the NW Cor. of Sec. 35, T. 3 S., R. 3 W., SLB&M, and used from January l to December 31 Inclusive of each year, for leaching leach-ing and precipitation of ores. After having been so used the water has been returned to the natural channel at a point N. 67 Deg. 80 Min. W. 2760 feet from the SE Cor. of Sec. 23, T. 3 S, R. 3 W., SLB&M. It Is now proposed pro-posed to divert said water as heretofore and use It from January Janu-ary 1 to December 31 Inclusive of each year, primarily for the precipitation of copper held in solution, but also for the extraction extrac-tion from such solutions of such other content as possesses a commercial com-mercial value. After having been so used, it is proposed to convey the water away from Bingham Canyon and dispose of it by evaporation, eva-poration, as being unfit for any further beneficial use. All protests resisting the granting grant-ing of said Application, with reasons rea-sons therefor, made ln affidavit form, must be filed with T. H. Humpherys, State Engineer, Capitol Capi-tol Building, Salt Lake City, with one extra copy and $1.00 filing fee within 30 days after the date of completion of publication. T. H.
