Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS THE STATE OF UTAH ' Office of State Engineer Salt Lake City Notice la hereby given that Kennecott Copper Corporation, transferee of Utah Copper Company, Com-pany, Salt Lake City, Utah has made Application in accordance with the laws of Utah to change the point of diversion, place and nature of use of 0.007 sec. ft. of water from an unamed stream in Little Eddie Gulch In Salt Lake County, - Utah. 1 Said water has heretofore been diverted by virtue of Application No. 8946, -Certificate No. 1896, at a point S 61 deg. 60-mln W 8236 feet from the NE Cor. of Sec. 26, T. 3 S., R. 3 W., SLB&M, and used from January 1 to December 31 inclusive inclu-sive of each vear for leaching and precipitation of ores. After having been so used the has been returned return-ed to the natural channel at a point 8 61 Deg. 60 Mln. W 3435 ft from, said NE Cor. of Sec. 26. It la now proposed to divert said water at a point S 65 Deg. 67 Mln, ,W 3667 ft.' from said NE Cor, of Sec. 26, and use it from January l to December 31 inclusive inclu-sive of each year, primarily for the precipitation of copper held ln solution, but also for the extraction ex-traction from such solutions of ' suoh other content as possesses a commercial value. After having been ao used, It la proposed to convey the water away from Bingham Canyon and dispose of It by evaporation, as being unfit for any further beneficial use. , This application Is designated in the office of the State Engineer Engi-neer as No. a-1366. ' All protests resisting the granting grant-ing of said Application, with reasons rea-sons therefor, made in affidavit form, must be filed with T. H. Humpherys, State Engineer, Capitol Capi-tol Building. Salt Lake City, with one extra copy and $1.00 filing fee within 30 days after the date of completion of publication. T. H.
