Show v ; NOTICE TO WATER USERS THE STATE OF UTAH Office of State Engineer Salt Lake City Notice la hereby given that Kennecott Copper Corporation, transferee of Utah Copper Company, Com-pany, Salt Lake City, Utah has made Application In accordance with the laws of Utah to change the place and nature of use of 4 sec. ft. of water from Carr Fork Creek in Salt Lake County, Utah. Said water has heretefore been diverted by virtue of Application Appli-cation No. 10166 at a point S. 3 Deg. E. 60 feet from the Wilt Cor. of Sec. 26, T. 3 S., R. 3 W., SLB&M, and used from January 1 to December 31 inclusive of each year, for leaohlng and precipitation pre-cipitation of ores. After having been ao used the water has been returned to the natural channel at a point N. 67 Deg. 30 Mln. W. 2760 feet from the SB Cor. of See 23, T. 3 S., R. 3 W.. SLB&M. It is now proposed to divert the water as heretofore and use . It from January 1 to December 31 inclusive of each year, primarily for the precipitation precipita-tion of copper held in solution, but also for the extraction from such solutions of such other content con-tent as possesses a commercial value. After having been so used, it Is proposed to convey the water wa-ter away from Bingham Canyon and dispose of It by evaporation, as being unfit for any further beneficial use. This application Is designated In the office of the State Engineer Engi-neer as No. a-1361. All protests resisting the granting grant-ing of said Application, with reasons rea-sons therefor, made in affidavit form, must be filed with T. H. Humpherys, State Engineer, Capitol Capi-tol Building, Salt Lake City, with one extra copy and $1.00 filing fee within 30 days after the date of completion of publication. T. H.
