Salt Lake City Notice is hereby given that Kennecott Copper Corporation, transferee of Utah Copper Company, Com-pany, Salt Lake City, Utah has made Application ln accordance with the laws of Utah to change the place and nature of use of 0.08 see. ft. of water from an unnamed stream ln Copper Center Cen-ter gulch ln Salt Lake county, Utah. Said water has heretofore been diverted by virtue of Application Appli-cation No. 8943, Certificate No. 1439, at a point S 47 Deg. 20 Min. W 1840 feet from the NE Cor. of Sec. 36, T. 3 S., R. 3 W., SLB&M, and used from January 1 to December 31 inclusive of each year, for precipitation of copper held in solution. After having been so used the water has been returned to the natural channel at a point N 86 Deg. 26 Min. W 2244 feet from the NE Cor. of said Sec. 85. It is now proposed to divert said water as heretofore, and use it from January Janu-ary 1 to December 31 Inclusive of each year, primarily for the precipitation of copper held in solution, but also for the extraction extrac-tion from such solutions of such other content as possesses a commercial com-mercial value. After having been so used. It is proposed to convey the water away from Bingham Canyon and dispose of It by evaporation eva-poration as being unfit for any further beneficial use. This application is designated in the office of the State Eniri- neer as No. a-1364. All protests resisting the granting grant-ing of said Application, with reasons rea-sons therefor, made In affidavit form, must be filed with T. H. Humpherys, State Engineer, Capitol Capi-tol Building, Salt Lake City, with one extra copy and $1.00 filing fee within 30 days after the date of completion of publication. T. H.
