The last night of Miss Kogeri' engagement en-gagement was a grand buccoss, the management having most judiciously repeated Shakespeare's greatest comedy "As You Like It," in which the "Btar" appeared to the best possible pos-sible advantage as Rosalind, This masterpiece of the immortal bard is rare to our lovera of the drama, not having been presented here for some years. Miss Rogers' conception and rendition ot her part was jjiost gratK fying in every detail. Without doubt sbe is the consummation of artistic taleut, whether viewed as a comedienne or tragedienne ; The utmost credit is due to the management for the very successful manner in which the play was placed upon the stage, and the actors and actresses last night, one and all, acquitted themselves admirably. admira-bly. Bait Lakers will more than regret re-gret the departure of Mies Rogers, lor it is seldom that so finished an Ictist graces the boards of our theatre. the-atre. To morrow' evening a rich treat is in store for the devotees of Momus in tho first appearance of Mr. Willie Gil, who will delight the public by his impersonation of Colonel Sellers in a dramatization of Mark Twain'B great novel "The Gilded Age."
