Show General Canbt's remains left Oakland, by overland train, on Thursday Thurs-day morning, as roported by telegraph, and if by the regular express train, which we think most likely, tho body or tne lamented chieftain will pass Ogden this morning. It was intended that a committee of ex-soldiers should be at Ogden to meet the body and es-oort es-oort it eastward until met by a similar committee from Cheyenne, but we presumo tho published request of the widow of the murdered general, that no demonstration bo made, will be striotly observed everywhere along the line of railroad. |
