OCR Text Altitude At Alia. CoL Stevenson Steven-son has just completed a lino of levels, from tho bed of Little Cottonwood creek, across und through the centre of Emma hid. ThisBhows the elevation eleva-tion of tho divide between Littlo and Big Cottonwoods, above Alta, to bo on this lino 1,4-10.0 feet. Tho levels have been taken every ten feet and give a perfect contour of this portion of the hill, showing the elevation of every mioo above creek level. London capitalists capi-talists luvo also directed a complete topographical map of this hill, showing show-ing in detail all parts thereof, as also the surroundings, which will bo completed com-pleted as sooa as possible, although it will extend into another yoar. Tunnel owners und mining corporations can then toll their respectivo elevations, and the distances they can siuk.
