Show I By W. U. .Telegraph. 8WAItl. Auburn, N. Y., 12. Almost every house in town is draped in mourning in respect for tho memory of ex-secrc-tary Seward. The cause of Mr Seward's death was not paralysis, as reported, but a species of palsy. A telegram has been received from secrotary Fish, and Washington officials, announcing their intention to attend tho funeral, which at the express wish of tho family will be conducted with but littlo pageantry. Frederick Seward has arrived. Coh 4'uward tho eldest son will probably not arrive in time for the funeral. |
