These eight distilleries were in close proximity to each other, and there is reliableinformation of twenty or twenty-five more being in operation opera-tion in South - Mountain, but their further progress was stopped by the Interior and State authorites. Lieut. Mast and Deputy Marshal T. Deaur, were arrested on a bench warrant from Judge Clara for destroying the property. |
