Show Missouri U. K L. R. Bridge. Superintendent Sickles, of the U.P.JR. B.., and Mr. Given, chief of construction construc-tion of the great railroad bridge over the Missouri, at Omaha, are pushing on the work with vim and energy. Mr. Sickles offers a hundred dollars a day to the gang of men who each day sink deepest the huge cylinders on which the columns of the bridge will rest; and as there are ten men in every gang, this is ten dollars a day to the successful success-ful ones. Tlie way the w jrk is made to rustle, as a consequence, may be imagined. It is expected that the bridge wil) . be fi li-.hed and trains pass over it long before the time specified for its completion. com-pletion. The U. P. R.
