Show I 1TATLOYS PLACER DEAL Embraces Valuable Ground and Extensive Ex-tensive Water Right In giving the details of the Malloy placer deal embracing valuable ground and extensive water rights near Idaho City Ida mention of which has already al-ready been made in these columns the Boise Statesman says I A r Malloy has secured bonds upon I i some of the most valuable placer j ground and water rights in this state I The land in the deal embraces all the I Plowman property at Idaho City the I Branstetter property and the Hanson property together with all the water rights attaching to them The price I prce agreed upon is not made public The property secured from Joseph I i Branstetter begins at Warm Springs j j I and runs two miles up Elk creek embracing I em-bracing about 500 acres With this I placer ground the following ditches I I are bonded The More creek ditch the I Christie the Elk creek the Alderson the Cuddy the Dunn and the Eldorado ditches The Plowman deal includes two ditches and that for the Hanson ground includes all the water belong ing to i These deals take in all the available water at Idaho City and all the ground that has water The ground is all valuable I val-uable On the Plowman property I there is a bank of gravel 90 feet high and the returns have been from S10 i I I 000 to 20000 a year for many years 1 The Branstetter placers are also rich I as well as the Hanson ground The I total amount of ground involved is in the neighborhood of 1000 acres There are ample dump privileges for working work-ing all the property The property is bonded until next fall 11 Malloy has a number of i I strong men New Yorkers interested I I with him and they intend to improve the property and work it vigorously I Heretofore there have been contests I amoung many of those interested but the consolidation effected will do away with all opportunity for controversy The new management will be able to concentrate the water at some point and thus be in a position to work to I advantage The ditches will be enlarged j en-larged so that during the season when I water is plentiful operations can be I I conducted on a much larger scale than ever fcefdre The work of enlarging the ditches will be inaugurated as soon as practicable II prac-ticable so that mining work may I proceed early in the spring I |
