Show lIE OUTLOOK AT HAILEV Mining Matters in the Wood RiverS River-S Country Idaho Judge P M Bruner of Hailey Idaho the well known Wood River lawyer and jurist was in the city yesterday on legal business Judge Bruner says that in the Wood River country and around Halley mining min-ing matters are coming into more prominence daily and considerable activity ac-tivity is especially noticable in the silver ver mines of that locality In the Red Elephant mine a property that has produced a million two big strikes have been made of late and work on the property will now be pushed more vigorously than ever i The Camas No2 mine which is a noted gold producer and which has paid 125000 in dividends with a little mill has also struck it rich of late and mi an ore body has been exposed in the property that will keep the stamps dropping for several years to come The ore values increase with depth in the Camas and the mine has millions in sight The Red Cloud also shows up well and contains one of the largest ore bodies ever blocked out in the Wood River country The rock is a fine I smelting ore carrying from 510 to 15 in gold 70 ounces slyer and 70 per cent lead to the ton The Star mine at Halley owned by Salt Lake parties has recently made a strike of seven feet of fine galena ore This property is being managed by Superintendent Ferguson and is one of the coming bonanzas of that region Judge Bruner feels very hopeful concerning con-cerning the outlook for the Wood River country and says that if silver is re monetized Idaho will develop into a wonderful wealth producer |
