| Show ARBITRATION TREATY Davis Effort to Get it Before Ithe Senate is Frustrated Washington April 15In accordance with his previous note Mr Davis promptly moved an executive session of the senate after the disposal of the routine morning business for the purpose pur-pose of taking up the AngloAmerican arbitration treaty Senator Davis endeavored en-deavored to secure unanimous agreement agree-ment upon a time to take a vote upon the treaty as a whole but in this he did not succeed owing to objections from several senators including Messrs Carter Car-ter Morgan and Mills The objectors stated that they had no purpose to unduly delay final action and when the executive session concluded con-cluded after continuing about an hour and a half there was an understanding that Senator Davis would renew his request re-quest on next Monday and that then there would probably be no objection to fixing a dat a C |
