While Mr West is now on his way in from the mine I is rumored in certain circles that in the spring there will be more than ordinary interest and activity activ-ity In Willow Creek district and also throughout the Deep Creek country S F Mount of the Ibex mine who is in from Detroit mining district informs The Herald that the Ibex tunnel is in a distance of nearly 600 feet and that the face of the tunnel is spotted with spar and iron which is a sure indication indica-tion in that district of the near presence pres-ence of ore and Mr Mount states that he expects that the main ore body will be encountered within ten feet more i not sooner when ore shipments will begin be-gin immediately In driving this tunnel tun-nel two stringers of ore have been encountered en-countered from two to four feet in I width but these will not be touched until the main chute of ore is uncovered I un-covered Mr Mount is more confident than ever that the Ibex will develoo into a great and permanent producer Work has been resumed In the development devel-opment of the Seals at Mercur and i is understood that the property is in a most encouraging condition On account of having to attend to some other business the Seal contractors discontinued work on the 15th of OctQ her but from now on the work is to be pushed vigorously both in sinking and in running a drift on the vein where It IB expected that
