| Show A proposition to tax bachelors has been made to the Illinois legislature It meets with much favor It applies to all unmarried men over 30 years of age But the question ia raised why the bill does not extend the tax to spinsters over that age There are two reasons against that One is that I it would be difficult to prove the age of spinsters over 30 and the next Is that it is not the fault of the spinsters but of the neglectful and unappreciative men that there are any spinsters left on hand Let the tax go where it belongs be-longs |
