their associates that I they would return 40 per cent of the I money contributed to finance that issue I The gross purchase pnce of the 4per cent bonds issued last February was in I i round figures 63000000 all of which the syndicate contracted with the government I govern-ment to pay in gold Onehalf the amount i was to be obtained by the sale of half i the bonds abroad and the remainder by
