SCHOOL FUNDS Measra Cninc iiTjil Whltelieail Look lug Alter Delinquent Monies Territorial Auditor John T Caine and Territorial Treasurer Whitehead yesterday yes-terday investigated the question of money held by Salt Lake county which properly belongs to the territorial and county schools the saute being proceeds pro-ceeds of property sold for taxes and subsequently redeemed by the owners own-ers There is about S9000 due from this county and J24S6137 from the territory ter-ritory at large Contrary to the statement made in last nights issue of the Mausoleum Gazette no conference was held with the probate judge members of the county court or either of them At least none of them were conscious of the fact when seen last night All four hoSvever join In saying that unless bonds are voted I will be impossible im-possible to refund any moneys until the tax levy Is made At present none of them are prepared to state what the amounts are The question will doubtless come up at the next meeting of the county court which will be hold on Monday next at 1030 a m
