FELL ASLEEP Two Aged One CiUc Home Yester toitliiy Affcvuaon William McBride airs of tile ohI tine residents of Utah died yesterday afternoon after-noon at his liomo In the Fifteen ward age SS The deceased was born in Sugar Creek toivnsliip Green county 0 March 22 1S07 his parent being James J and Jane a1O Andrew McBrIde 117 was among the first to embrace the Mormon faith and was baptized In his natlv state In March 38J5 he emigrated I to Kauvoo leaving there in the autumn of 1S4G In fall of 118 he came to Sail I Lake valley settling on the Old Fort Square where he resided until his removal re-moval t the Seventeenth ward He Jeft Salt Lake in 18D2 on a mission to the Sandwich islands being accompanied on his trip to Honolulu by Ihirtvtwo ciders some of whom were bound for Australia China Siam and Hindoslaii On account of ill health ho was forced to leave the islands returning wal to Califor Calfor nia in 1S53 where he labored for a year returning home In 1S5J In 185S he located in Grantsvilie and at the time of the move went to Santactuin He was an officer In the militia and took an octive part in the trouble with the Indians in 1575S Mr McBride leaves a host of friends who will miss his kindly face and pleasant pleas-ant companionship I The funeral will take place tomorrow at 1220 from his late residence
