Before Judge Anderson The jury in the case of James Hamilton who was tried in the Third district court on Tuesday on the charge of committing an infamous crime against nature came into court after being out several hours and announced that it was impossible to agree and were discharged It is understood that the jury was equally divided six vot ing for acquittal ana six for conviction Messrs Reilly and Anderson the de fendants attorneys appeared before Judge Anderson yesterday morning and demanded that Hamilton be tried at once or that the defendant be discharged This request was denied J In the case of C L Blazer charged with obtaining money under false pretenses Judge Anderson allowed the motion of the prosecution to dismiss the indictment and i I resubmit the case to the grand jury The case of J D Shaffer vs P A Mitchell Mit-chell et al was then token up The plaintiff m plain-tiff alleged that last year he sent a mare r down to the defendants farm for pasturage pastur-age and while there the annimal died through the negligence of the servants of the defendant and he sued to recover 200 damages for the loss of the mare Late in the afternoon the case went to the jury with instructions to return a sealed verdict The case of Annie Schas vs Mark Schas was dismissed T C Rooklege vs J H Bowman dismissed dis-missed
