Show THE COURT BEAVER Anderson Says Violations of the Edmunds Law are Becoming Less Every Day BEAVER CITY Utah May olfSpecial telegram to THE HERALD The Second I judicial district court opened at 2 pm Judge Anderson presiding J M Zane prosecuting attorney Fifteen grand jurors were empaneled a number of which served on the last September and December Decem-ber terms One of this number refused to take the EdmundsTucker oath and was excused His place was filled The charge to the jury was very fair and brief yet touching every point that would come under the supervision of the jury Three prisoners accused of larceny were ordered into court to see the jury that will act on their cases Tho court cautioned the jury to be careful how they entertained enter-tained trivial matters and not run parties accused and the county into unnecessary expense The court stated that violations of the Edmunds law were becoming less every day The criminal and civil dockets Weroread after which the courtadjourned till tomorrow at 10 oclock |
