Show Choking From Fish Bones Special to THE HERALD Examiner Dispatch PHILADELPHIA Pa May 4A case of inhalation somewhat resembling that of Rev Dr Bothwell and which may terminate termi-nate fatally was found in the Pennsylvania Pennsyl-vania hospital here tonight Joseph Sutton Sut-ton sixty years of age while eating some dab at breakfast this morning attempted to laugh at some remark made by a member of tho family On doing he famiy so inhaled a rather large piece of fish which he had just taken into his mouth For some minutes it seemed as though the man would choke to death before assistance could reach him Finally however he succeeded in swallow ing the fish but the bones still remain in his throat The bones are bunched closely together forming almost 1 complete valve and shutting off the air He will not bo able to swallow any solid food as long as the bones remain in his throat It will require wi quire a peculiarly delicate operation to remove re-move the bones successfully |
