Show J Bingham Bulletin Notes Quite a number of Salt Lake mining I D i men have been seen in the Old Reliable Re-liable this week The Stewart and several other mines paid off their employees this week Steady work is the order of the day on the CoromandelCoh olldated in Cottonwood gulch Mining Recorder Quinn reports several sev-eral location notices sent up from Lehi this week to be placed on record The Tlewaukee keeps a good force of men steadily at work and is yielding yield-ing up rich products in encouraging quantities Max Beaver and partners lessees of the Black Dog are working that ground steadily and extracting some nice carbonate ore from i The lessees of the 1 X L mine are pushing work on that property are working day and night shifts and are taking out some very nice ore Work has been suspended on the Argentine Ar-gentine grouplocated on the Car Fork Tooele divide on account of the enormous enor-mous amount of snow in that locality Since closing down the Myers restaurant res-taurant on the first of the year F W Thomas has been placer mining and reports that he is meeting with very good success succes The Markham Mill and also Mill ners Mill have both closed down since the first of the year but we understand under-stand that the former will be started up again soon The Lead Mill will start up again next Monday with the same old force in charge I will start on ore from the Tie kee mine 500 tons of which it has to treat The lessees of the Jersey Blue mine are vigorously driving the main tunnel tun-nel ahead on that property with th expectation of soon tapping a large and rich body of ore I John A VanPelt is staying right and feels with the Mohawk properties confident that the tunnel he is now driving will eventually tap a body of I ore that will not only repay him for I money and time expended but provide him with a handsome bank account I Dave Teachenor is now engaged in driving a new tunnel on the Montezuma Monte-zuma ground in Markham gulch for I the purpose of tapping at greater depth the big ore body encountered in the upper tunnel on that property The new tunnel will cut the ore body at about 150 feet below the upper tunnel I tun-nel level The Old Jordan and Galena tramway I tram-way was so blocked with snow Monday Mon-day that cars could not be run over it However Lhe track was cleared I of snow by noon Tuesday since which time cars have been making regular I runstwo trIps daily hauling down the vast products of the Old Jordan I and Galena properties for shipment J |
