| Show THE CHARITY CONCERT Further Arrangements Made liy the Committee Yesterday The various committees in charge of the coming charity concert met at Calders music palace at 2 p m yesterday yes-terday when it was decided that 4000 tickets for adults should be printed and 2000 for the children at prices of 50 cents and 25 cents Prof Stevens submitted sub-mitted a rough draft of a programme for the concert which includes the names of Mrs Lizzie Thomas Edwards Mrs Jennie Hawley Woodrow Mrs Bessie Dean Allison Miss Celia Sharp Miss Winston Mr John Robinson Mr Willard Weihe Mr H S Krouse Mr Thomas Radcliffe and Mr J T Daynes The committees will meet at the headquarters of the society on Thurs day at 4 p m for the purpose of dis tributing tickets II The work of the Society of Charities goes grandly on Yesterday twenty women were employed I em-ployed by the society in tying comforts and sewing carpet rags both of which I i will meet with a ready sale with the merchants of the city I is intended to employ the women far a limited i time and then give another set of J women similar employment thus help Ing as many as possible Mr 11 H Walker has donated another room in the block for that purpose I The society received 40 from the Wonderland benefit |
