Rioting at Carrara Carrara Jan 15Rioters have cut the telephone wires and attempted to wreck a train at Avenza A carbineer officer was wounded by the rioters and sought refuge in the adjacent heights At midnight two squadrons of cavalry cav-alry have arrived and 500 more troops are expected The town is now regu Inrly occupied by the miltarv All the shops are closed as it was feared there would be a renewal of the riots The anarchists have been joined by others I from the surrounding districts The cavalry stopped one party which was trying to enter the town Shots were exchanged The rioters are now ccnur ing the country in the vicinity of Car rara getting arms at private houses
