Show r Mines at the yorlds Fair The committee on mines and mining of the Worlds Fair commission has organized organ-ized and the first stated meeting will beheld be-held in Chicago on November 27 It is proposed pro-posed to have a building erected for the display of the products of the mines of the world and Mr John W Woodside of Philadelphia adelphia the member of the CQmmittee representing the Middle states and New England has issued a circular requesting that all owners of mines and quarries or i manufacturers of mining machinery and appliances who desire floor or wall space for proposed exhibits should communicate with him at 934 Arch street Philadelphia prior to November15 with reference to the character of exhibits and to the space desired I de-sired The committee has discussed the idea of holding its meetings in the different mining centres of the country for the purpose pur-pose of interesting mining people in the I exhibition as well as to give the members J an opportunity of becoming conversant I with the different mining interests |
