Talking of Utah Mr E B Ridgeley returned yesterday morning from a four weeks trip to the east where he has been in tho interest of Ogden He visited Kansas City as well as other large eastern cities At Pittsburg Kan he visited the electric smelters of the Plttsburg Short Method Smelting and Relining Re-lining company which are said to be the best in existence Mr Ridpeloy states the company is greatly interested in the establishment of a smelter in this city In speaking of dull times Mr Ridgeley stated that people in the agricultural states feel keenly the discrepancy in the money market although there seems to be considerable con-siderable inquiry for farm property and a great many farms are changing hands Everywhere in the money centers I visited continued Mr Ridgeley ME found a growing feeling for the west and particularly arly Utah The money market of course is steadily easing up and as it does there is a greater demand for Utah securities Capitalists recognize us as the coming country of the west and all talk very favorably of the future
