Billy Fmith Knocks Out Frank Keller SAX PKANCISCO Feb 22At the Cali fornia Athletic club tonight a largo crowd assembled to witneisa finish fight between Billy Smith the wellknown Australian heavyweight and Frank Keller of Ypsi lanti Mich for 1 1500 purse Kellers superior height and long reach made him an awkward party for Smith to handle and tho first twelve rounds ho punished Smith pretty badly The latter slipped to the floor several times but in the twelfth landed some hard blows on the Michigan mans head that dazed him In the fifteenth however Keller finished up and nearly dropped Smith with a smash on the jaw In the twentieth Smith repeated his jobs on Kellers left temple making the Michigan man very groggy Smith knocked him down again in tho twentyfourth When he arose he sent him to the floor once more Keller was struggling to his feet when counted out During the fight President Fulda read a cablegram from Joe Goddard the Australian Aus-tralian accepting a match with Joe Mc Auliffo for June and asking the club to cable expenses immediately
