Show HELEN MAXFIELD Sr. Cit Of Month I: V, Wield is saluted as : amen of the month, a ,tffaithe Golden Years r I )H WD her husband Marshall (Max) built a home in the Val Verda area, when they came to Davis County in 1952. After their three daughters were married they moved to their present home at 1065 North 400 West in Bountiful. Helen spends several hours each week as a volunteer at the Golden Years Center, enjoys en-joys working in the nutrition program and on Friday afternoons af-ternoons teaches a beginning bridge class. SHE RETIRED from government service after serving for more than 32 years. Most of this service was spent as a secretary for the United States Weather Bureau, now known as the National Weather Service. The senior citizen centers are always in need of volunteers volun-teers who are willing to give a few hours of service in helping help-ing with the various volunteer programs. HELEN IS a very dedicated and fine volunteer, always willing to help where she is needed. The Golden Years Center is very fortunate to have people who are so willing to assist in the services for the seniors of Davis County. HELEN IS a great addition to this program and everyone appreciates her hours spent for the center, kj |
