"... . , .j i i f - i i' I ', Y ' 1 If v 1 , c .Iinir ,..trniW.f...J Lorraine Munson Is Miss Bountiful Lorraine Munson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Voyle arid Lillian Munson, 718 W. 3400 S., Bountiful, was crowned as Miss Bountiful Area last Friday night at the pageant held at Viewmont High School. MISS MUNSON is currently a senior at Viewmont High School, where she is secretary of the seminary council, two-year two-year member of the National Honor Society, outstanding senior 1978 and winner of the Cora T. Hayward essay contest, con-test, 1977. Miss Munson is active ac-tive in Forensics and student government. Lorraine has had eleven years of piano instruction, and performed a piano solo as her talent number. She also teaches piano lessons and has participated in high school drama courses for two years. SHE IS five feet four inches tall, weighs 107 lbs. has blue eyes and light brown hair. First Attendant is Jan Hill, daughter of L. James and Carolyn B. Hill, 932 E. 2050 S., Bountiful. JAN graduated from Bountiful Boun-tiful High School in 1977, and currently is enrolled at Weber State College where she belongs to the La Dianada Sorority. She was president of the Bountiful High School Drill Team, 1977, Senior Prom and Homecoming Royalty, Honor Society member, honor graduate, and member of the varsity volleyball team. Her major is physical education with a minor in dance. For her talent number she performed a modern ballet which she choreographed herself. Jan is 5 ft. 7 in. tall and weighs 118 lbs. She has brown hair and blue eyes. SECOND attendant is Tana Stone, daughter of LeRoi H. and Cheryl Stone, 1683 S. 500 E., Bountiful. Jan is currently enrolled at Bountiful Boun-tiful High and the U. of U. where she is very involved in the music department. For her talent number she performed a vocal solo. She plans to further her education at Utah State University and become a music major. HER HONORS include a superior rating for vocal solo at Solo Ensemble Festival and she was selected to sing in the Elite Madrigal group at Bountiful High School. She is senior class committee leader and will represent Bountiful at the State Solo Ensemble. Lorraine will represent the Bountiful area in the Miss Utah Pageant to be held June 10 in Orem.
