Show Bountiful By BERTHA L. MUIR 2S5-J742 Mrs. William Ericksoh of 634 S. 875 W., Woods Cross, attended a mothers and daughters week at Ricks College, Rexburg, Ida. recently. She was guest of her daughter Nola. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Smith entertained a pot luck dinner Saturday evening. Guests were school day friends, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Terry, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Sanders, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Keddington and Dr. and Mrs. Wallace E. Hess. Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Oar spent last weekend at Snowbird Snow-bird and Mrs. Noriene Hatch took care of their two sons. Bountiful visitors last week were Mr. and Mrs. Max L. Muir and son Jon, Dr. and Mrs. Wallace E. Hess, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ledingham and Jay David Dalley. Mrs. Dolores Carraher, Mrs. Ruby Layton, Mrs. Elsie . Sharp and Mrs. Bertha Muir had dinner at the cafe Saturday Satur-day evening and returned to the Muir home for dessert and canasta. Mrs. Vera Day, Mrs. Lucy Christensen, Mrs. Ida Wes-terman Wes-terman and Mrs. Bertha Muir spent last Friday afternoon visiting friends in Bountiful convalescent homes. They completed the visits by spending an hour with Mrs. Idell Shipp who is living with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William Domm and family in Bountiful. They ate dinner together after visiting. Jim Cleverly, Viewmont high school basketball coach, has been appointed athletic director at the school. Bountiful high school band received a superior rating in the Region One band competition. compe-tition. District Number Two of the American Legion Auxiliary will sponsor a fund-raising luncheon at the American Legion Post Home on Saturday, Satur-day, April 29 at 12:30 p.m. Mrs. Cleo Brown, district president and Mrs. Dorothy Willey, secretary, will be in charge. The public is invited to attend. The District is made up of eight units. |
