"V! t rr - 'v - - x See NAMED TO BOYS STATE The 1978 American Legion of Utah Boys State will be held June 4-10 at Utah State University at Logan. THE Bountiful Post 79 has selected and is sending 14 students from Bountiful, Woods Cross and Viewmont High Schools. The boys will spend a week learning the functional aspects as-pects of citizenship, the processes of electing our governing officials and the responsibilities, privileges and rights of each citizen. ; A"'- Attending Boys State from the south Davis area will be, front iV"' 1 to r, Paul Godfrey, Woods Cross; James Bay, Woods Cross; Tavlor ' "i"'5 ' World, Woods Cross; Sterling Egan, Woods Cross. ' : jtr's off Along with the seminars,' there is also a competitive sports and recreation program. THE following boys were selected to attend this year: Stephen Christiansen, Paul Hansen, Mark Espenschied, John Milligan, Ryan Behunin, Bryan Willey and Robert Madsen from Viewmont. Mark Nielsen, Taylor World, Paul Godfrey, Sterling Egan and James Bay will represent Woods Cross. Brad LaComb and Grover Wray will represent Bountiful High School. INDIVIDUALS, clubs and businesses who have sponsored spon-sored one or more of these boys to Boys State are: Bountiful Boun-tiful American Legion Post 79, Bountiful city, Ward Holbrook, Robert Alvin Moss, Max Brown, Waller Willey, Mrs. Juel E.
