Notice is hereby given that on June 28, 1979, at 5:00 P.M. hearing will be had by the Board of Directors of Bountiful Boun-tiful Water Subconservancy District upon such Applications Applica-tions for Reallocation at the office of the District, 385 West 500 South, Bountiful, Davis County, Utah, and at such time and place, or at such subsequent time to which the hearing may be adjourned, the Board will make and enter its Order granting the applications or such other Order thereon as it determines deter-mines to be in the best interests of the District. I. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Utah Transit Authority at the Utah Briefing Center, 19 East Second South, Salt Lake City, Utah on June 18, 1979, at the hour of 4:00 p.m. for the purpose pur-pose of considering an application for Federal financial finan-cial assistance under Section 3 of the Urban Mass Transportation Trans-portation Administration Act of-1964, as amended, for a project which is generally described as follows: A. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT 1. The development of the Meadowbrook Bus Storage and Maintenance Facility Administrative Offices, and Central Support Sup-port Shops, to include: a) facilities for covered storage, dispatching, daily serving, maintenance and cleaning, of 250 buses, b) a central support facility for major component com-ponent rebuild and heavy maintenance for the entire UTA fleet, c) administrative offices for the UTA, d) the purchase of related relat-ed equipment, and e) professional fees for ArchitectEngineering and Construction Management services. 2. The project is located within the district of the Utah Transit Authority and specifically at 3600 South and 800 West, Salt Lake City, Utah. 3. The estimated total cost of the project is $15,490,000. The Federal share requested is $12,392,000. The local share of $3,098,000 will be provided by UTA from sales tax revenues as authorized by statute under the Utah Local Option Op-tion Sales Tax-Public Transit Allocation Act of 1974, and subsequently approved by referendum in Salt Lake, Davis and Weber Counties. B. RELOCATION No persons, families, or businesses will be displaced due to the activities ac-tivities to be completed as a part of this project. C. ENVIRONMENT The proposed project will not have any significant sig-nificant environmental impact upon the Salt Lake urban area. The overall effect will benefit the UTA and the region by increasing increas-ing the efficiency of the public transportation system. sys-tem. An Environmental Impact Analysis of the project has been prepared and is included in the UTA's grant application. D. COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING ' This project is in conformance con-formance with the comprehensive land use and transportation planning plan-ning in the area and will be submitted to the Wasatch Front Regional Council, the designated Metropolitan Metropoli-tan Planning Organization (MPO) for the region, in conformance with the A-95 review requirements. The application will also be forwarded to the State Clearinghouse, and the State Department of Transportation for review and comment. E. ELDERLY AND HANDICAPPED The Meadowbrook facilities will be constructed cons-tructed in conformance with all applicable Federal and State handicapped accessibility ac-cessibility requirements. Measures shall be taken to insure full accessibility to all facilities to the elderly and handicapped. II. At the hearing, the Utah Transit Authority will afford an opportunity for interested persons or agencies to be heard with respect to the social, economic, and environmental en-vironmental aspects of the project. Interested persons may submit orally or in writing writ-ing evidence and recommendations recommen-dations with respect to said project.
