BRAD McLAUGHLIN Trade Vows Andrea Laurette Olson became the bride of Brad McLaughlin in rites performed per-formed in the First Southern Baptist Church, in Salt Lake .City, on March 17, 1979. Rev. Tom Vance and Rev. Eric Frye performed the ceremony. ANDREA IS the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis A. Olson, 2777 South Holbrook Road, Bountiful and Brad is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. McLaughlin, BrighamCitv. . - A reception was held in their honor at the church following the ceremony. THE BRIDE'S gown was made by her mother and featured fea-tured two layers of chiffon over white satin, a chiffon chapel length train trimmed with lace. The gown had a shaped standing collar, high fitted bodice, full chiffon sleeves, all trimmed with matching lace. The lace was studded with clusters of tiny bead pearls. The fingertip length veil, which was made by the groom's mother, was also trimmed with the matching lace. The gown had a fitted empire waist in front and sloped to the waist in the back and was very full in back. The bridal bouquet was made by the bride and was a cascade of white satin roses and lily-of-the-valley. JODI OLSON was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Kathi Olson, Cecile Carr and Carol Gundmundson. The attendants' gowns were floor length, peach colored dresses, with matching lace sleeves, bodice and cummer- bund. The flowers were made by the bride and were peach satin roses and dark brown dried flowers and baby breath. The mothers were dressed in peach, green and brown floor length gowns and wore corsages of peach satin roses and baby breath. BEST MAN was Larry Taylor with ushers John McLaughlin, Kevin Cornish and Chris Williams. Prenuptial parties were given by Mrs. Millie Johnson, Mrs. Marcia Lindelien, Mrs. Marilou Taft, Mrs. Joyce Cornish, Mrs. Janet Lancaster, Lan-caster, Mrs. Elise Hassell and Mrs. Pat Taylor. THE BRIDE attended Viewmont High School and the U. of U. The groom is a graduate of Box Elder High. After a honeymoon to the Grand Canyon the couple will make their home in Salt Lake City. |
