Show TGl3 HHouse i Live in' By BERTHA L. MU1R Your writer, Bertha L. Muir, has lived in three homes on West First North in , Bountiful for the past 55 years. She has lived in her , present home for 27 years. Two of the homes have been . owned by the Muirs. THE THIRD was rented ' which she, her husband and two children occupied for three years before moving to 154 West 1st North. This house the family built and resided in for 25 years. This home is now owned by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ked-dington. Ked-dington. IN THE home, at 154 West, the family enjoyed a very happy life, educating their two children, working in their church, and taking part in community affairs. They have seen many wonderful neighbors neigh-bors come and then move on. Bertha is the only one left of the original group. The Cliff Ramptons, Russell Poulsens, Stanley Laytons, Mrs. Leland Sessions and Robert Ked-dington Ked-dington have a long record of residence. These neighbors are kind, good people who have welcomed new neighbors neigh-bors as they have come and gone. THEY HAVE helped with flowers for funerals, gifts for-showers for-showers and weddings and graduation cards for many people. Many of the homes in the area have been sold or are rented to new families. These homes were well-built, well kept and have made good homes for many families who desire to live in a friendly area, near a shopping center and where church can be attended at-tended in an historic old tabernacle and school attended attend-ed in the old Stoker School. |
