Show Oirossirosidls By KELLIE BARNETT Turkey Week may be over for the Wildcats with; their great silver turkey egg hunt and Mr. and Ms. Tom, Metilda and teacher turkey awards, but preparation for the real Thanksgiving Thank-sgiving festivities is taking place with the WCHS Key Club who are sponsoring a service ser-vice for a needy family on Thanksgiving. Donations from members of the club and from students throughout the school have been greatly appreciated. j i THE WILDCAT men have been busy this past week, not only in getting ready for their basketball, wrestling and swimming seasons, but also in their undertaking of an important impor-tant operation at Wood Cross High. After laborious tryouts, the WCHS Boys Drill Team has been chosen. Members of the team include Todd Schwendi-man, Schwendi-man, Evan Marchant, Steve Young, Scott Forman, Dave Jensen, Joey Tibbitts, Ted Burningham, Kevin Bodily, Alan Newbold, and Paul Nestman. IN SPEAKING of great men at Woods Cross we mustn't forget our hard working volunteer volun-teer spirit promoters who have been diligently practicing cheers every night in our behalf. be-half. Alan Newbold, Paul Forsey, Mike Gibbs, and Todd Schwendiman, will be seen at all basketball games promoting promot-ing spirit wherever they go. OUR NEXT basketball game will be played at Orem High at 7:30 on the Dec. 2. Wrestling will be the same night against Bear River at Woods Cross. The Madrigal and A'cappel-la A'cappel-la choirs will be performing at various places this month. Their schedule is as follows: DEC. 1, Five Points Mall, 6:30 p.m.; Dec. 2, Temple Square, 7:30-9 p.m.; Dec. 8, South Davis Library, 7 p.m.; Dec. 9, Carr Printing Party at the Carrillon; Dec. 10, Bountiful Bounti-ful Servus Drug, 8 p.m.; Dec. 15, Christmas Choral Concert. 7 p.m.; Dec. 17, Valley Fair Mall, 4 p.m. Be sure to look and listen for this group throughout the holiday holi-day season.
