In other business, the board approved naming of Bernell Loveridge as district energy coordinator, a new position. He currently teaches computer science and physics as Viewmont High School. THE BOARD okayed creation of the position in its Nov. 4 meeting. He will oversee over-see an extensive energy audit of all district facilities and coordinate grant funding as well as formulate an on-going conservation progam.. District officials said he will not begin his new duties until a "suitable replacement" re-placement" has been found. Five applied for the position including three from Davis County, Dr. White said. Salary will be "above $20,000" but has riot been formally determined, the board was informed. Mr. Loveridge has been involved in-volved in energy programs since 1972 and aided the district in preparation of grant application material. |
